OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES MANAGER

The IMS Occupational Licenses Manager is a user-friendly program that helps municipalities manage the daily chores of keeping records of each business located within their city limits.

Users can produce Renewal Notices, Collect Payments, Issue Licenses, Calculate Late Penalty Fees, and send Delinquent Notices. This program keeps all your information in an easy to use database that allows access to the information based on any number of parameters.

The IMS Occupational Licenses Manager has been saving cities time and money for years by cutting the workload of maintaining records and issuing licenses. Fees are automatically calculated based on your municipality's business code, as specified in your business ordinance. These fees can be based on number of units, on inventory value, or can be set up as a flat fee. Penalty percentages for late payments can also be calculated from a penalty schedule, as determined by the user.

License forms are individually designed, giving the user control over many of the items that print.

All pertinent information on a business is easily viewed on one screen and there are 4 additional user-defined fields that will store data, as well as a Notes field. Payment information and history is tracked on each license.

The Inventory Work Order program now works in connection with the Utility Billing Software. Work Orders created in Utility Billing may be automatically added to the Inventory Work Order database. This allows materials used on a work order to be drawn from inventory. Work orders that are completed and closed in the Inventory program, are also marked closed in the Utility Billing program.

Users can quickly view the license status when browsing the license window - Inactive licenses are grayed. Users can choose to include active or inactive licenses in their reporting options.

Businesses with more than one business code (fee) assigned are highlighted in red - users can sort and search their database by the license number, business name, business address, owner name, and by their user-defined fields.

Users can assign one business with many business codes, and each code will print a separate business license. Fees and information on each code are recorded separately.

The license form can be customized in many ways. Users can include their municipalities watermark logo to print on licenses, as well as a signature.

There are five fee types, three of which are user-defined. The Receipt system works in tandem with the IMS General Ledger, by allowing the transfer of receipted monies. This system can also work with a receipt validator/printer and cash drawer.

Payment History is tracked yearly for each license renewed, and status quickly shows the user New, Renewed, Transfer, or Inactive licenses. Receipt reports can be printed by any of these license status categories.

There are many more features, too numerous to list in this brochure that make this software the answer to all your licensing requirements.
